doodlebook, drawings

Asmaria popped into my head June last year (2011), along with the tall stalked tulips and the dragonflies. Maybe I was looking too much at gyaru stuff that time at Tumblr, or I might have been wanting for a thicker, beautifully permed hair, or I probably was wishing to be as good as Filipino artist Valerie Chua (whose watercolor masterpieces are just divine) when it comes to ethereal females. Whichever the reason, she just came into my mind without prior notice.

She’s not the first one though, there’s also Rin and Sabine, whose sketches I will be posting later on. Asmaria is a lame name I came up for her. Do you have any other names to give this girl?
